Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last Updated: January 14, 2026

This Privacy and Cookie Policy for RaptorWorks Technologies Inc. explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it when you visit raptor-works.com or purchase our products.

We are a small company. We collect only what we need, we don't sell your data, and we don't use it to market to you beyond your own order. If you have any questions, contact us at contact@raptor-works.com.

01

What Information Do We Collect?

Information You Give Us

When you place an order or contact us, you provide us with:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your shipping and billing address
  • Payment details — these are passed directly to our payment processor and are never stored on our servers

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect basic technical information including your IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages visited, and general location (country/region derived from IP). This information is collected through cookies and server logs and is used for site analytics and performance monitoring. We do not collect sensitive personal information of any kind.

Payment Processing

All payment transactions are processed securely by our third-party payment processor(s). We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, or other raw payment credentials. Please refer to your payment processor's privacy policy for details on how they handle your payment data.

02

How Do We Use Your Information?

We use your personal information only for the following purposes:

  • Fulfilling your order — processing payments, shipping your product, and handling returns or exchanges
  • Customer support — responding to questions, warranty claims, and any issues with your order
  • Transactional emails — order confirmations, shipping notifications, and support replies. We do not send marketing or promotional emails
  • Internal analytics — anonymized, aggregate website usage data to understand how the site is performing and improve it
  • Legal compliance — retaining records as required by applicable law

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes.

03

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to make the site function and to understand how it is used. We use Cookiebot to manage your cookie consent. When you first visit the site, you will be presented with a banner allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time.

Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. They include cookies set by WooCommerce to manage your shopping cart and session, and cookies set by WordPress for basic site operation. No consent is required for these.

Analytics Cookies

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about how visitors use our site — including pages visited, time on site, and general location by country. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. Google Analytics is only loaded after you have consented to statistics cookies via the Cookiebot banner.

To opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. For more on how Google handles data, see the Google Privacy & Terms page.

Our use of Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Managing Cookies

You can control cookies in several ways:

  • Use the Cookiebot consent banner to accept or decline non-essential cookies
  • Configure your browser to block or delete cookies — note that blocking necessary cookies will affect site functionality
  • Use a browser or extension that supports Global Privacy Control (GPC) — we recognize and honor GPC opt-out signals

Your Cookie Preferences

You can review and update your cookie consent choices at any time below. Changes take effect immediately.

04

Who Do We Share Your Information With?

We share your personal information only where necessary to operate our business:

  • Payment processors — to complete your transaction securely
  • Shipping carriers — your name and address to fulfill delivery of your order
  • Google Analytics — anonymized usage data, only with your consent
  • Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of company assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction
  • Legal requirements — where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our company or others

We do not share your personal information with any other third parties for advertising, marketing, or commercial purposes.

05

How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We retain order and customer records for 7 years as required by the Canada Revenue Agency for tax and accounting purposes. After this period, records are securely deleted or anonymized. Support correspondence is retained for as long as is reasonably necessary to resolve your issue, and no longer.

Anonymized analytics data collected through Google Analytics has no fixed deletion schedule as it cannot be tied back to you personally.

06

How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

Our website is served over HTTPS. Payment data is handled entirely by our payment processor(s) and never passes through or is stored on our servers. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take the protection of your data seriously.

07
